Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how TeleSafeguard, Inc. (“TeleSafeguard,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our check-in call service and this website.
A plain-language note: TeleSafeguard is a wellness and companionship service. We are not a healthcare provider, we do not provide medical care or medical advice, and we are not covered by HIPAA. In an emergency, always call 911.
What we collect
- Account holder information — your name, email address, and phone number.
- Your loved one’s information — their first name and phone number, which you provide so we can place the check-in calls.
- Call recordings, transcripts, and summaries — the check-in calls are recorded and transcribed so we can generate the post-call summaries we email to you.
- Billing information — payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number; Stripe handles it under its own privacy policy.
How we use it
- To provide the check-in calls you’ve arranged.
- To generate the email summaries we send to you and your family.
- To improve the service — for example, making the calls more natural and helpful.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers we need to operate: payment processing, telephony, and AI voice vendors. They may process your information only to provide their services to us.
We never sell your information, and we never use it for advertising.
Security
Calls, transcripts, summaries, and account information are encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest, and are held by our hosting and database providers under their own security programs. Each customer account is separated at the database level, so one family's information cannot be read from another family's account.
We describe our security in terms of what is actually in place. We are not a HIPAA covered entity, we do not hold Business Associate Agreements with our vendors, and we do not maintain a formal audit trail of internal access — if that changes, this page changes with it. A small number of TeleSafeguard staff can access customer records in order to operate and support the service.
Retention and your rights
We keep your information for as long as your account is active, and as needed afterward to meet legal and accounting obligations. You can request an export of your data, or ask us to delete it, at any time by emailing support@telesafeguard.com.
Children’s privacy
Our service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above and notify account holders by email.
